Name of the software: **Minecraft** Project/product Homepage: **[[ https://www.minecraft.net | https://www.minecraft.net]]** Why we should include this into the repository, i.e. what does it do that the alternatives do not? **Minecraft is a really fun game, and no other games compare to the amount of work put into Minecraft. It does cost money, but it's kind of hard to install Minecraft without using the command line.** Is it open source? **No.** If it is open source, please provide a link to the most up to date, versioned source tarball/zipfile. master.zip links will not be accepted. **It isn't Open Source, but I wrote a simple install script. To use it, simply run the command below:** ``` sudo wget https://raw.githubusercontent.com/PizzaLovingNerd/solus-minecraft-installer/master/minecraft-installer.sh; sudo sh minecraft-installer.sh; sudo rm minecraft-installer.sh ``` **This downloads my script, runs it, then deletes the script. You could just have the software center run my script. The script installs java, wgets the minecraft jar file into "/opt/minecraft", then wgets minecraft.desktop into "/usr/share/applications". This script does the same thing as [[ https://solus-project.com/articles/gaming/minecraft/en/ | this install guide. ]]** **Thanks in Advance --PizzaLovingNerd**
