Considering that Nautilus is now using libadwaita, I think this can probably get marked complete.

Would you be able to create an issue on the Budgie tracker? This issue has been confirmed and should go there instead of here, so it doesn't get lost, since this tracker is for Solus/packaging issues and requests. Thanks!

Materia is just fine, by the way . Thank you for pointing this out.

If a viable fork emerges that looks like it will have continued support, then I don't see any reason not to switch to it. So far it's too early to tell.
Thanks for the information.
Unfortunately the Plata issue stems from the fact that this theme is no longer supported by the developer. Some people are working on a forked, updated version though. In the meantime the new recommendation for Budgie is Materia.

This issue has been deemed by the developers to be an issue related to Budgie, our primary desktop environment. As Budgie is a distro-agnostic project, developed by Solus but leveraged by other operating systems and projects, we maintain a dedicated issue tracker for it. I think this should be reported here instead. Thanks! ?

I think that more or less is in the LightDM settings. Try installing lightdm-settings and using that to change some setting there, I think it might work (was a long time since I used it)...
So how can you disable the need of inputing password after reboot? I used to do that , but then I still had to input password when launching an app that uses Gnome Keyring to unlock it, Vivaldi for example
Sorry I don't think it ever did, but I might be wrong.
That option has nothing to do with the LightDM login screen that you go to when restating or when you force a full log out of your account. The only thing it does is control if you need to type a password or not to get in to the computer after it puts itself to sleep. in other words, it is for the lock screen and not for logging out the whole user account.
