Thanks everyone for the random comments. At some point I started receiving emails about it, so that's good. Thanks @Harvey once again for also validating email sending / receiving.

I think we could just change the summary from Wine compatibility layer for Windows emulation to something along the lines of Wine compatibility layer for Windows software?
Well actually it is a compatibility layer according to the official site
Also we should have GNU/Linux instead of just Linux, right? /s (Kidding)

Yes, it should still happen, because it hasn't been fixed in slick-greeter yet.

Sorry but I don't agree with these changes:

I would like this variant of Adapta to be included, since the color scheme is one of the reasons I am still sticking with Arc.
Adapta-Eta with a blue color scheme rather than cyan would be awesome.
Edit: I just took a look at the second revision, and I can say that I agree that the contrast is much nicer there in my opinion. though I prefer light themes over dark themes.

It definitely gives it a bit more contrast to the blue but I think i still prefer the old one. Sorry :I

Tista sent the following via their Patreon:
With that in mind, I suppose the question is whether or not Solus will move to Tista's separate Adapta redesign project, or continue to use the 3.94 design.
Interesting development on this front. Tista has reverted to 3.94 source, and is likely going to move his redesign to a new project.

@Jacalz Yea if there are issues beyond the color scheme (which doesn't exactly apply to us) then I'd focus more on getting those issues addressed rather than using a fork. Tista has always been responsive to critique and generally speaking quite easy to work with, so I'm not concerned about Adapta heading in a direction that'd conflict with us and/or our pseudo-HIG.
Yeah, the fork is primaily just to keep the old code easy to find and downloadable, I do see tajt a fullt maintained fork isn’t the way to go. Users seem to be complaining about more than just the color scheme at the time but it will be interesting to see what happens next..
While I understand a lot of user's hesitation to adopt the new Adapta theming, it should be noted that we have already updated our colors to Solus blues as of R338:3023926849958b9f42b941c0591f3a9d74b61a3f and therefore makes that argument moot.

Then it seems to be that priority is Hack. Hack is a redesigned Bitstream Vera and DejaVu projects (approx. this should be... pairing). BTW, I love Solus Budgie x) more better than Solus GNOME for me.
Basically, if @ikey is interested in changing it up for Budgie, he's obviously more than welcome to do so. I have no plans on changing the current fonts for GNOME Edition at this moment in time though ?
They're set for different purposes. On the Budgie ISO, the default branding is as follows:
So, what is the priority? Noto Sans or Hack?
Hack is a great monospaced font, but there is no sans serif version...

A computer is a device. You could then argue if we used words like "computer" or "desktop" people would say, well, mines a laptop, or a tablet. "Device" is an encapsulating term.

Now I see the black Breeze pointer on the login screen and after logging in, I see the white Mate pointer I've set in Appearance Preferences > Theme > Customize > Pointer.
I thought this would show my custom white Mate pointer at the login screen too.

@Justin Do you think we could have them enabled by default? It won't take too much space on the ISO and really improves the OOTB experience. A few more tweaks and Solus MATE is just as polished as the Martin Wimpress edition :D
