Turbo clock speed 792 MHz) . I can't find what HD graphics model it has.

I can confirm this. The bug is not pressented in solus 1.2.1 ( with the lastet updates to 31 december 2016 ) but happens in latest snapshot 1.1.2017.

i found this https://github.com/vikoadi/indicator-kdeconnect which suggests it's not necessary to have plasma DE if you also install this indicator .
zno_oze reopened T1934: KDE Connect as "Open".

I encountered this bug 2 times ( on different laptops ) . I had to hardreset it !
@Timalex i don't think it is shortcut related . I guess it happens after you leave it alone for 30+ minutes . I can't reproduce it .
