None of the above contradicts what I said about why I opened the request-for-package when the request-for-maintainer was closed. Will keep all further discussion unrelated to patches themselves to IRC. Thanks
Further summarize change log
- Changelogs should always be summarized, not verbatim copy / pasta. You read the changelog and use your best judgement to determine what is actually important / noteworthy.
- Regarding GitHub issue stripping, it's because they aren't relevant to us, aren't going to get autolinked, etc. Also...you know...because kyrios is a Global Maintainer and he told you to.

Source for the file as well as a pre-built eopkg are both located here https://github.com/yacn/chefdk-eopkg

I made a separate repo for it: https://github.com/yacn/folding-at-home-eopkgs/releases/tag/7.5.1 -- you can download the eopkgs to install directly from there or build them yourself with the config files in the repo with the install script.

I don't know if every component will make it into the repo due to the mixed open/close sourcing (client is closed source iirc), but packaging/installing from the provided Debian packages was fairly straighforward, you can build and install them yourself with the following packaging configs:

Not a solution but as a workaround, I've installed Kodi along with the Plex for Kodi Add-On which works perfectly.
