@JoshStrobl Alright, do you guys plan on activating these experimental features or do you prefer waiting for them to become stable and non-experimental?
Anything new on this? Gnome 3.26 introduced an experimental fractional scaling thing that doesn't work on Solus (the option does not appear in the menu after using the command)

Thank you for the clarification!
Why was this rejected? Is the 2-distro thing an actual rule, as in the software HAS to be included in 2 other distros? It seems it is only an entry-criterias waiver (maybe it was modified since March and the criterias have changed, in that case can this be re-opened?).

Yup, this matches my config and the symptoms (4GB VRAM, GTX 970 and GM204 all appear in lspci and nvidia's own X server configuration tool)

@Speedhoven you'd probably need to install make for this. I'm not sure which package it is though on Solus

@ikey I can help, as I have a GTX 970 that encounters several problems with Linux related to this issue :)

Okay, I figured it out.

Yup... Is there any way to check if GSPCA is currently working? Just to make sure that it's not just a configuration problem. (I'm a complete noob with Linux kernel stuff :/)

ONLYOFFICE can also be installed through a GUI, so a package is not entirely necessary here.

There are actually loads of linux distributions not supported, but I think it is possible to install guest tools on Solus. Absolutely not sure, someone needs to check this.
Does this issue also happen when using the Jack connector?

What headphone do you use? Which port?
This could be a problem with only NetBeans C++ screwing something up. I'm pretty sure this issue could be related to Budgie more than Solus, someone should test to see if Solus MATE is affected by this to see if Solus is the cause
Update : everything works correctly after following your steps. I'm looking forward to using this OS. Thank you very much!
Thank you, it worked! Now trying to install the drivers on a freshly installed Solus OS :D
UEFI, sorry I forgot to mention it
How can I boot from the LiveUSB using nomodeset? (Sorry if this sounds dumb but google is rather unhelpful, holding shift during boot from the liveusb doesn't do anything)
