I do not like trasgui, I find it ugly and a horribly outdated UI. It's your distro, so your choice to not include it (hence not re-opening the ticket again). I just don't understand why there's such strong resistance to it. Especially now that there's a Plasma spin, you'd think the idea would be to have as many qt-native packages available as possible. Especially since the QT build actually has more functionality than the GTK build.
Migrating my torrent server to another client is not an option.
Now that Solus has a Plasma edition would it make sense to have a transmission-qt package?

Sure, but I figured we would have the artwork and could kick it upstream. I'll bug them about it tho.

Yes, but slightly differently. Works fine until you try to make a window maximized.

I've been following Vocal for some time now. The developer seems to work in short bursts. Lots of time between updates, then all of a sudden they'll implement a bunch of new features and push a release. Some things get better, some get worse. Last version had something like 3 updates pushed in quick succession as people filed issues (hence holding off a couple versions before the Solus update).

Same deal there. When you mentioned the env values, I tried removing =gtk2 with no success. Probably should have mentioned that.
QT_QPA_PLATFORMTHEME=gtk2 QT_IM_MODULE=ibus
Happens when using adapta as well, and nuking ~/.config/calibre doesn't help either.

In theory this patch sounds like a good idea. Near a bluetooth speaker that you're paired to, might be safe to assume that the user wants to play their audio through it. However, this becomes very annoying when dealing with networked pulse servers. Now every time Solus connects to my wifi it switches off my default sink (laptop speakers) and switches to (effectively) a random networked output since it's connecting to the most recent sink to appear.

DLNA is different, however, I figured it out. Nothing needed to be rebuilt (although the Pulseaudio package.yaml does have --disable-avahi in the build config, so I'm not totally sure why it works. I just needed to copy /usr/share/pulseaudio/default.pa to /etc/pulse/default.pa and uncomment "load-module module-esound-protocol-tcp" and "load-module module-zeroconf-discover"
