I have 16gb RAM, which is a standard for casual PC, but memory still gets eaten as well. OOM killer just doesn't do anything about it.

I think it all on it's places, steam was installed right from eopkg, steam was relaunched to assign env var... and error appeared long before I started switching things on and off

Ran with LSI_DEBUG=1 as you suggested

Can't confirm as I switched to Budgie edition

I entered same command as what @neo-alquimista entered, and indicator was up for a moment and gone again after a while

I did installed Solus MATE with new distro release (04.18), the problem stands where it was.

So I have mate-panel debug to true, but xsession-errors does not show anything interesting...
What else can I do to help track it down?
