They seem to delete tags which hurts us for rebuilds and I really have no interest in supplying NSA software to our users.

Another update, the package in question is named warsaw and it does exist in the AUR, so that could be of use. https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/warsaw/
it looks like the package works if you install the libnss package, based on this manjaro thread: http://manjaro-linux.com.br/forum/post28751.html
A unbreak system command would be quite useful (I speak from experience of breaking Solus), though we would also probably want a method of making it obvious to users such a method exists. A recovery boot option would probably be the best way to go about it.

@DataDrake my understanding is that the problem with Hunspell is that is has trouble trying parse camel cased words, whereas aspell has a run together option to deal with camel cased words, making aspell popular among programmers for parsing comments or technical writeups. Does hunspell currently have a way of dealing with camel caseing I am not aware of?

Rebooting fixed it. I had believed that I had already rebooted, but perhaps my shutdown was ungraceful, or I simply suspended or hybrinated.
