This was originally requested in order to support NoTrack, which is a DNS server that blocks trackers on a network.

This doesn't seem to be an issue anymore; appears that the SSD in the computer was periodically corrupting Solus. After it eventually died, a new SSD was put in its place and Solus was reinstalled and everything seems to be going fine now. :D

Okay so it happened again. Something weird was happening and some of my files were becoming read-only and then this happened.

So after many updates, this issue is less common, but still appearing. I'm beginning to think it's something to do with the keyboard I have plugged in. It's a Corsair Strafe RGB mechanical keyboard.
My reasoning is that the mouse doesn't always freeze, but the keyboard always does.

Thought I'd mention this is still occurring now. It seems to be more likely to occur after a decent amount of uptime. I wouldn't say it is all of Solus freezing, but the mouse and keyboard stop working for either a good amount of time or indefinitely (until reboot). Not always both mouse and keyboard though, usually just one or the other and rarely both.

I also agree with this - but in the meantime you can easily just download their package from the website and run the executable. Works perfectly fine for me. :D

Just curious; have you tried using Virtual Machine Manager?

It isn't really that difficult to find. Searching "music" gives 59 possible packages, where "Music" is the 39th package. Alternatively, you can search for "elementary" and "Music" is literally the 3rd package on the list (of 7 total). Yes; I really did count them by hand.

The person named "iranen" in IRC mentioned that he's having a similar thing happen on boot; where it'll occasionally freeze (apparently "on systemd-fsck"). His PC is the Asus X59GL with an Intel Core 2 Duo and a GeForce 8200M G. So again, an Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU.

Yeah I can see the video now, that's all good. Although, I still cannot replicate this issue - even going to the same category as you and such. I have noticed that your monitor seems to be running at a higher resolution than mine (2560*1080 for reference), or perhaps just a lower scaling factor.
Is this issue still being experienced? I've tried to replicate it and have failed, and the video you supplied is "unavailable" for me.
