Try getting the -devel packages of all the deps.
Why do we need (to maintain) a new kernel if no one or an extremely small proportion of the users is going to be using it?
Solus has made exceptions for specialist software before but this is a bit much, I feel.

@ylk Maybe as a temporary solution we could do that on the 3rd-party repo, if @JoshStrobl is willing.

@yaymalaga I would love to see secure boot in Solus but since it was designed with windows in mind there isn't a huge benefit to use it, but it would be nice to have.
@kyrios123 It is closer to a alternative (FreeBSD/port) package manager, so it allows people with lower storage people to install software that is not included/can't be maintained in Solus.

@JoshStrobl will it be possible to reopen this task?
@JoshStrobl noted, however, this package has been pending since May and it seems really useful to me.
I never knew Nautilus has such an extension,
My apologies.

This was apparently built off the "linux-firmware" git tree, marking this as resolved.

If it helps @ikey Debian already has "realtek-firmware" ( https://packages.debian.org/sid/firmware-realtek ) package that provides support for Realtek wifi and bluetooth.
