@DataDrake Thanks for explaining pkg-config and ld workings, I finally got gocv it to work with new compiled version of opencv.

I was wondering if anyone can update opencv to latest version. I need it for some stuff that I'm working on I am able to build and install it but when I try and use it in gocv I get following error.
