Yes by every update, Solus kde is fully updated right now and it happens since first time I installed it, from the very begging with the first update until the last one. Is the kde edition without any additions for example even if its an update of a single package the problem happens and remains until reboot. The netbook is a hp stream 11.

Thank you!!!!
Sorry I meant kernel 5.4 and 5.6, in my case I have freezes (I am forced to press the power button), black screen and glitches, after removing the xorg-driver-video-intel package everything works fine.
Please remove xorg-driver-video-intel from the default installed packages, people like me with an Intel GPU end up with an unusable PC.
Otherwise you can apply this patch https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/xorg-x11-server/blob/master/f/06_use-intel-only-on-pre-gen4.diff
