Kdenlive and Shotcut are there but they don’t often meet the standards of professional video editing I know many Linux users have expressed this. This gap between the hobbyist and professional video editors prompted the developer(s) of Olive to start this project.

This release is packed with performance improvements and bug fixes. To discourage future-style trades and minimize mediation cases, this update also increases minimum security deposits.
