If i understand it correctly they scripted the cleaning and rebuild the package of every release of chromium, here is their documentation on how they do it:

The actual advantage of using the pre-configured tor browser is that most users are supposed to use the exact same config to avoid fingerprinting deanonymization.

I actually did it by accident, while i was playing around phabricator to learn it. I am sorry :(
I am not sure if gnome-multiwriter does validate the images after the burn, or if it can write sd cards.
Rambox is an equal opensource alternative. Much more trustworthy.
