@JoshStrobl Would be cool, if you upgraded to the 3.26.1 point release, c.f. https://mail.gnome.org/archives/gnome-announce-list/2017-October/msg00006.html

@ikey OK thx for the hint, will do in the future :)
OK, I just removed linux-current and installed your kernel :D
Wow, thank you for your quick reply and attempt to solve the problem! I was able to download the kernel you linked in your post, but could not install it because - as you said - it conflicts with linux-current. See the log:

Well, but there are some that also get used quite often, e.g. Libreoffice et cetera
Little update: On Ubuntu Budgie 17.10 daily from 12.08.2017 the alsa config looks like follows: http://www.alsa-project.org/db/?f=8bdfb3ac4e345749cddb6a53bbd52c1912ee735c
haha xD Did you mean how I found the iso? If so, well, I know where the patreon isos are (since I'm a patreon now ;) ) and then I just hat a look in the folder ;)
I see where you getting at, but then at least this behaviour has to be visualized to the user. And of course, if I edit panel A, why would I be unable to use panel B? I think the "entire panel process" should at least be broken down to a specific panel.
