Seconded. Wish I could help with this task (especially since I'm the one asking), but I feel there are too many low-level details to know about to do this properly.

Can I attach a second request to enable the PipeWire util binaries (pw-jack, pw-pulse, etc.) or should I make a second ticket ?

Why wouldn't an out-of-tree be interesting? It seems that patch is used in other distributions to provide a realtime kernel. Why not in Solus?
I can reproduce the issue with a Numark Mixtrack Pro II - the controller is detected and events are received with aseqdump, and I can route the MIDI output to amsynth and play notes from the controller to the synth. I'll report the output of mixxx --controllerDebug when I get home later tonight.

If you try to open timeshift-gtk while a snapshot is running, you get the same "Timeshift is already running" message. It seems the behavior is not a bug but a feature.
Any update on the status for this package? Timeshift is quite unique as there aren't other system backup tools that work as well as Timeshift. Anything needed for inclusion?
