When you install shotcut and run it you get this error message, afaik there isn't a way to get around it and use the program. Installing jack-audio-connection-kit makes the error stop and shotcut works as expected.

if you go to configurations and go down the settings to pick a folder where notes are saved, for me it won't let me pick a folder if kdepim isn't running.
