I would suggest asking community who is using Wine for what. At this point I belive native apps are enough for most of the things. And if they're not (like CAD) - Wine won't provide stable experience anyway. Doesn't matter if -staging, -devel or stable.

They've stopped maintaining changelog at around 2010.
I created one from comparing tags 2.12.41 and x.x.45. I hope this will get job done if it's so necessary just for the sake of rules... ;)

Not saying that actual Google Chrome isn't usable. What I mean is Chromium in repository is more civilized way to handle software. Ya'know, auto-updates, full control of build process etc.
