Restartet my pc 4 times and launched the apps several times in random order, for me everything is back to normal with Mediainfo, Grsync, WinFF, Audacity (had no issues with Hexchat & Keepassxc), they all start without delay as they used to.

strace logs with vala-panel-appmenu not installed:
Just wanted to note that even though i have the 20+ sec. delay with Mediainfo-gui, Grsync & Winff, i have no delay launching Hexchat or Keepassxc. Tried launching Hexchat 10 times and Keepassxc 50 times.
@ReillyBrogan Mediainfo, Grsync & Winff started instantly with the updated vala-panel-appmenu-0.7.3-11-1-x86_64.eopkg.

Mediainfo, Grsync & WinFF also seem to be affected by this.

Looks like the color/ICC display profile issue has been reported, despite the post's headline this affects both AMD & Nvidia users.

@Phantop I think i have the same issue, had a red/orange tint on the screen after updating, turning Night Light off did not change anything. Found that changing color profile for my screen, brought back the normal colors i was used to. In my 4 years on Solus the color profile have been the same (the name of my monitor), and i have not had this issue previously.

Tested this and found that, if you remove snapd before a full system update, then everything is fine (on a clean 4.2 install), if you remove it after then the issue reported happens.

Not sure if i can submit a test of Vocal, if not just ignore it (maybe you prefer maintainers to do it).
@JoshStrobl The ~/.local/share/Trash/files folders were missing, created the folders, rebooted and got a Trash icon on the Desktop. Nothing more to report so far, thanks again!
@JoshStrobl Thank you, if hope it was not a royal pain in the b... to fix this. The issues reported is completely gone (tested everything i could think of).

@JoshStrobl Sorry for the late response.. Updated to the lastest budgie-desktop-view-0.99-2, have tested it on two pc's, and get exactly the same behavior as the previous version.
Nov 18 2020
Not sure if this is an intended behavior...

We will now check if it is the current active window, if it isn't then we'll unmaximize / activate it so it'll come to the foreground again. If it's the current window in focus and you click it, it'll minimize it.
I have tested it and really like the way it works now.
I have noticed a changed behavior with budgie-desktop-10.5.1-224, that is different from my stable setup.
It wont happen if you have other not minimized windows open (like Nautilus or Firefox in the video). If you minimize all your open windows, then try to click on the last window you minimized, it wont maximize again. I get the same result with 1 or more windows open, if they are all minimized, then the last minimized window wont open with a leftclick. An example: Open one Nautilus window & Firefox, minimize Nautilus first, then Firefox, click on Firefox in the "Icon Task List", which wont maximize the window. The scroll wheel will work to maximize every time, and it is always the last minimized window that wont maximize again.
Updating went without issues on two pc's using Budgie & a virtual Solus Gnome installation, only issue where the same as Harvey describe.

@JoshStrobl I have tested it on two different pc's, both have no issues with the xorg-server-1.20.9-66 update. Thank you for solving the issue, that was quick.

Last update sorry... decided to dropkick Solaar from Budgie autostart, but to my surprise, after rebooting Solaar started up anyway nicely minimized in the tray, so it seems like having it installed is enough, you dont need to create an entry in autostart anymore.
@Girtablulu I have found a workaround, if i use the command sleep 5 && solaar -w hide, it will open the same way as the previous verison of Solaar (minimized with only tray icon showing).

When did this start? Gnome boxes were updated on 14 may, it looks like the latest Gnome boxes dependency updates were: libgtk-3 - 14 may, glib2 - 12 may, libarchive - 23 may, libsecret - 14 may.
Just tested this on my Budgie stable & unstable setup, on both gnome-boxes start and work without any issues, and the Bash reports are identical on shannon & unstable, no Segmentation fault is reported on my system.
