Slightly confused here, is the software center planned to be re-written with Qt as part of budgie 11?

Yeah, I agree that discover is currently a mess. I really just want it for development - the reference to other applications using it (currently just discover) was just me trying to put as much info as possible on the package request.

Ok, so it appears this actually requires a glibc release >= 44. Otherwise I have a working patch.

clr-boot-manager keeps older linux kernel versions around so the system can still boot if something gets corrupted during an update. I can't count the number of times I had to chroot in and fix stuff after an update back on Arch rendered my system unbootable.
512MB is such a negligible amount more than 100MB these days that it is considered a worthwhile tradeoff.

Can you file your package request in this[[ https://solus-project.com/articles/packaging/request-a-package/en/ | form ]]?

Changed --enable-static=no to --disable-static

Hmm. Another duplicate request: T3704: Request for PDFMod.
Would this be a valid inclusion per the 2-distro rule? Its in debian, fedora, etc.
Only asking because I don't know if this was previous to the rule being created.

Besides not being open source, the developers don't allow redistribution.
Good luck. I looked at it but don't have much experience with Maven.
You need the hplip package installed. It provides many HP printer drivers.

Got it. Source is now downloaded from mirror url.
Removed explicit dependency on zlib-devel.
Packages reordered correctly.
I'm a sourceforge noob, trying to figure out how to set this to a mirror url.

Yeah, that looks much better than mine. Uses pkgconfig for openbabel as well as some more cmake options.

Thanks. I was trying to get it working myself, but to no avail.

As for encrypted passwords, I know Thunderbird doesn't support that, and iirc Geary doesn't either. I don't know about any of the others though.
I can certainly understand where you'd get the impression that Trojita isn't well maintained, since the interface could certainly use some work. However, Trojita is under almost constant development, with several patches a week.

Not to re-hash a closed subject, but did budgie add appindicator support in late 2016?
http://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2016/11/budgie-desktop-picks-indicator-applet-support
Wouldn't that mean that this would now work?
