For Flutter to work, you need to have the Dart-SDK as well. A lot of developers now uses, Flutter, Dart, AngularDart and all the tools related to it. Should we add a request for other packages? or all can be done under this one? but in my opinion you don't need this in the repo. You just download the tar.gz file and extract it in /opt/

apparently, this doesn't have a solution. I just reinstalled Solus again and I am facing the same issue.

I really want to start my Development on Solus. I am not sure the state of Android tools on Solus. Last time I checked I had lots of issues starting with emulator and loading time.

I have same issue as well. They way to fix it, is to "Forget" that netwrok, because the first time it took the wrong password. Once you press "Forget" then it will take the correct password. I don't know why passing a wrong password wont let the correct password to be passed.

I got 8GB on my computer and I have to add a line with 10GB for /tmp. Then only I could install the system images for Android. I wish we didn't have to make this change to /etc/fstab.

@tristan957 this is what I assumed. In fact I reformatted my machine and after installing Android Studio, I faced same issue when I created AVD.

Can I know how many GB of RAM do you have? and what is the /tmp size on your machine?

@joebonrichie We are doing app development. We just started a while ago. We have faced many issues but we are finding work around. I find the required apps and make package requests for them.
Some of the issues we are facing are:

• • the limited directory size of /tmp . We have to increase the /tmp size through /etc/fstab. I think this is not related to Android Studio but it is still bothering us when we are trying to create AVD and download the images.
• We are facing some issues with the AVD and libstdc++.so.6. We are fixing these with this link
• Some times the emulator freezes the system and it is very slow. We are forced to use Android device for testing.

We are a team of 5 and we all use Solus for Android Development full-time. Let me know if I can help with testing or debugging.

After the last update, I got my brother printer working on Solus. The driver-less printer works perfectly.

I am facing same issue in ASUS K556UR. Whenever I close the lid or the laptop goes to sleep I get a black screen. Maybe these outputs can help?

I really need this package. I tried to look for a snap package, but couldn't find any.

I have been trying to make our office printers to work with Solus, but so far no result. I am forced to change all the OS to a version that supports all our Brother Printers. I would really appreciate if there is any progress on these drivers any time soon.

I have similar issue when I plug HDMI to my TV. I have to switch the sound source manually.

Could you please add this model "J480DW" as well. Now I got two bother printers in my office and I can't use any of them.

Now, I can use the office printer because the driver is not available. I hope this can get resolved soon.

I had similar issue. You need to install python-devel package and everything will be fine.

I was about to request this package. It would be nice to have "wifite.py" script packaged with it.

I have already told Ikey that I will have a penetration testing and I wanted to request these packages. I am using Kali linux, and its very slow. I don't know how those pen-testers are surviving with Kali. I will be requesting these packages based on my needs. There are about 600+ packages for Pen-testing.

after I installed python3-devel everything was ok, but it took me a while to find out this. :)
