To install gcc in solus run :

sudo eopkg install -c system.devel

but why does vscode have to be uninstalled when uninstalling when removing nodejs? It is so annoying when I just have to refresh the nodejs installation.

OK, I found the problem. Somehow inside org/gnome/desktop/lockdown/disable-lockscreen was enabled. I don't know how, but it was set to true. I haven't tampered with dconf editor before

A fancontrol package is needed. This should be included in the software center.

Also happens on Acer E5-575G after the last update
