My computers run Solus, my phone is on Android, and I think I've tried almost every possible cross-platform note-taking program that is out there. They are all either too bulky (Joplin, Turtl, etc.), or have too many features, or have specific really bad bugs (Simplenote's problems with tags), or don't synchronize.

An update:
As of April 18, wifi module has worked without a problem for a week now. I installed no new software, deleted nothing that would have something to do with wireless connection, only updated the OS. I have no idea why it has started to work, but it has.

As of April 2018, this problem with Intel 3165 module is still there. Connection is at times perfect, at times very slow (around 100 kbps). An Intel 7260 module works fine on my other machine, also with Solus.

I'm a beginner in Linux, and am merely suggesting to add a simple virtual keyboard functionality.

Still hope this can be resolved software-wise, but if it can't, maybe someone here knows an m.2 wireless plus Bluetooth card that will work with Solus for certain? Thanks.

Update: I installed the newest version of Solus with the image on the OS homepage -- wifi started working terribly, there was almost no data transfer at all, although the connection to router was stull on.

A separate question: I wonder why this app is over 150 mb in size? Most other note taking apps are under 10 mb. Could this be by some kind of error during package assembly?

Just FYI, I started using Google Hangouts after trying out many options. Hangouts work without a problem on Opera and Chrome. On Vivaldi they do work except for the sharing function.

There is no stable, fully cross-platform alternative to Wire on Solus, that's why I would be really grateful if you updated it.

Wire Desktop isn't working properly on Solus since about a week ago. People can see/hear me, but I often can't receive stream from them. The latest release on GitHub is two sub-versions newer than the version in Solus' repositories. Please update! There's a bit of urgency for me because I use this messenger for work.
