The gesture works, but not the default mouse button behavior,
if I set the gesture button to right click I get no context menu anymore.

I might have fixed it. I deleted the klipper config file, restarted and now I don't get the popup anymore.
Still weird that it started showing, as I never used/enabled that feature, it was there after restarting post update.
Thanks anyway.
Try switching it off by using Ctrl+Alt+X

Seems to be the 390.25 version of the driver who's at fault:

I'm having a similar issue, in my case it's caused by the "force full composition pipeline" setting of nvidia T5708.
Still having this problem. Just enabling "force full composition pipeline", without saving the settings to a file, causes the black thingies to pop on my screens.

I don't think this needs to be packaged.

Managed to hack together the Notify plugin, installed it on my system and it works.
Only problem is that the notifications are saved in the notifications area.

@JoshStrobl I tried to package the modules, but I only succeeded with App indicator (Gtk2::AppIndicator perl module), which adds an extra icon to system tray, that has a configurable middle click action.
Middle click doesn't work on Budgie, but works on Mate.

@JoshStrobl the Titlebar module adds some buttons (play, prev, next) in the title bar.
I decided to package this myself but I have some questions before I submit the package.

This only happens when the /etc/X11/xorg.conf is present.
LDM removed this file, but i recreated it since i'm getting screen tearing without "force full composition pipeline" and without the xorg.conf file the setting does not persist.

Mounting the ESP partition to /boot, running sudo clr-boot-manager update, rebooting and installing the drivers worked.
Dec 27 2017
Yes that's the one i installed and after reboot it would get stuck on a black screen.
After installing all updates and rebooting uname reported that i use kernel 4.12.
Then i run clr-boot-manager update which gave me the Cannot determine boot device error that brought me here.
I'm experiencing this too on a fresh install. After installing all the updates, if I install the current nvidia drivers then Solus won't boot anymore, it will get stuck on a black screen.
