Does appear to be this bug. If I boot without the external monitor connected and then plug it in when I'm at the sddm login in, I can log in as usual with newest kernel installed.

This happened to me a few days ago, while watching a movie on Amazon Prime Video in Firefox. Never happened before and hasn't happened since. The video froze and the audio stuck in a loop, replaying the same few seconds of audio repeatedly!!

Few tips, take a look at how other package.xml are structured. The release tag is the current published version in the Solus repos, as it doesn't exist yet, this should be 1.

I have some packaging for this - https://invent.kde.org/snippets/1003 will probably need tweaking.
