vscode strongly relies on extensions and external processes/tools. I can't reproduce your issue by opening a Go project. What process is taking so much memory? You showed the memory timeline but not the process list. A process list sorted by memory allocation would be super useful. For how little I can tell you at the moment, I'd say both nodejs and vscode packages are OK.

Proposal: can we merge curl-gnutls into curl's package.yml? I see no reason to split them in two repositories.
Make install code a bit clearer
I can probably make the install code a bit clearer.

I'm now using a patchelf-based approach to change the soname, so that we can avoid maintaining a patch.
We have worse packages that this, but yeah it's a hog :-)

OH right, I only checked the 64-bit flavor.

The only user of curl-gnutls is atom, but it doesn't link against it anymore : D3738#change-2YCBuvag6hgp. Also, its README doesn't list anything specific about a GnuTLS version of curl. And finally, I installed atom with --ignore-dependency and it ran fine. Are you sure curl-gnutls is still a thing?

No, nor it was my intention. I think the plan is OK and I'm waiting for the green start working on it.

Heh I get that, but my computer is getting quite old to build Rust *and* a hog like Thunderbird or Firefox... I'll see what I can do. You should thank silicon shortage for that.
Add MAINTAINERS.md
Ah right, the MAINTAINERS bits.

My 2 cents: I think we should do this to zsh and fish as well. What do you think?
After all, XDG specs say:

I'm going to try to build an application with UI files, but I agree that some more details from your side would be helpful.

Isn't this enough? https://xemu.app/docs/building-from-source/#linux
@Girtablulu FWIW QBS support is gone. Do you want to retain it? It's not that widespread, but this clearly changes what qt-creator supports compared to the previous version.

Fedora also retains $PATH in subshells. Just confirming it's a common behavior among distros.

Vectorization is enabled at -O2 which is now equivalent to the original -O2 -ftree-vectorize -fvect-cost-model=very-cheap. Note that default vectorizer cost model has been changed which used to behave as -fvect-cost-model=cheap were specified.

Actually, we could just add hyphenation data to libreoffice-common-dictionaries (an already existing package). This would differ from most distros since they provide hyphen-*, but we'd simplify the libreoffice setup from users' perspective.
