In D8692#169616, @chax wrote:I think i need both gcc and clang updated.
Ah OK, I thought it was a matter of choice.
@chax, we have LLVM 10 now if you want to revive this patch.

SSE3 was a mistake, it's not officially supported. I switched back to SSE2.

Lazarus can now build complex projects, but fppkg cannot install packages yet. After I fix this, fpc should be ready.

Thanks @kyrios123.
Lazarus gives

Now we may discuss what build flags are a good default, or we may not :P
Make it stateless and add a default config file

Oops, I forgot to check if the config file is useful or not.
I'll give it try.
Duplicate of T9404.

If this works, to date we will be the first distro to use system's libvpx 😎

Oh, this is my task. I guess I'll take the initiative :P
This can definitely be closed. They fixed it in framework 5.74 and we're now on 5.77.
No crashes here using Wayland. Give the age of this task, it's probably safe to close it.
There are no destructive ABI changes but I think it's safe to rebuild all the revdeps.
Let me know if you want to split libftdi1 and libftdipp1.

Solved by D9914 I think.

Do we really want the uppercase D? Not even Perl packages have uppercase letters in their name.

Hm? No there's no rebootstrapping here.

Then why don't you add Python3 and keep Python2?
Updating python packages in system.base to Python3 is very, very risky, as packages using them may not list them in rundeps. python-pylzma, for example, is used by eopkg.
Before updating such packages, then, be 100% sure you have tested all the revdeps.

Oops, sorry, I confused you with shenchen.
This can be probably closed. I can scroll a lengthy list of multiplayer servers.
I avoided to say it not to put Budgie under a bad light, as it's not really Budgie's fault if it had to switch to the budgie-desktop-view, but GNOME's. Anyway, I'm using Plasma, but I think that MATE also supports what you want. Certainly not GNOME, since it removed desktop icons entirely...
Works here using another Desktop Environment, so it must be related to the new budgie-desktop-view. Wait for a reply from a Budgie developer.
Remove unused libmupdf-third.so (again)

@xulongwu4 I know you're the maintainer, but since you subscribed to the task and you haven't provided a patch yet, I took the freedom to work on it.
I'm working on it.

I thought that patch was about build time checks, and in fact my local building tests passed. I'm deeply sorry.
I think this can be closed. I can launch yubioath-desktop and there's pkgconfig(Qt5QuickControls2) among its builddeps and abi_used_libs.

If this gets accepted, please tick python-pylzma mark in T8747.

It is not open sourced. as far as I know it is offered to students enrolled in CISCO's Networking Academy
You said it yourself: Solus cannot ship it.
First, only open source/permissively-licensed applications can be added to the repository, and this is not the case. Secondly, the Packet Tracker is not even freeware but a piece of software offered only to the subscribers of a service: https://www.netacad.com/courses/packet-tracer/faq (although it's free).

I'm not content at all for importing the -devel packages to provide the unversioned sonames, but I think that's the easiest way.

@PetteriVaarala if you want to update a package that has a MAINTAINERS.md file, you gotta require the maintainers' permission to do so.
