If you want the nVidia Docker plugin to run automatically on startup, you can make a systemd service to do that for you.
Create the file /etc/systemd/system/nvidia-docker-plugin.service with the contents:
[Unit] Description=nVidia Docker plugin service [Service] ExecStart=/usr/bin/nvidia-docker-plugin [Install] WantedBy=multi-user.targetStart the service:
sudo systemctl start nvidia-docker-pluginEnable it to autostart:
sudo systemctl enable nvidia-docker-plugin

I really hate to sound impatient but this issue is on my parents computer and they are unable to use their printer and have been unable to for weeks now. I've tried changing the ink but that hasn't fixed it either.

On my fully upgraded system without that font.conf I still get the issue. I'd test on my laptop but I seem to have a separate issue on that.

I had to create a font.conf in /etc/gimp/2.0/ just so I can get back to work, still not sure what caused it. I have no offending config either.
