I'll file an issue on their bugtracker. Downgrading kdeconnect to 21.04.3-42 seems to work as a workaround for now.
I forgot to mention that I did a rollback to before the sync and everything worked then, but started crashing when I updated again.
Someone mentioned in #solus-dev that it could have something to do with KDE Connect, and I can confirm that: If I wake up my phone that is connected through kde-connect, gnome-mpv crashes and If I kill kdeconnectd, gnome-mvp stops crashing.
Nevermind, it just crashed again..
It doesn't appear to crash anymore ?

Could you try to run cura with this command please ?
env -u DESKTOP_SESSION -u KDE_FULL_SESSION -u XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP /usr/bin/cura %F

@kyrios123 I have a VM on unstable. I updated it but I'm still getting the same welcome screen without any buttons.

I upgraded Cura to v4.8.0 and the application launches successfully here. I am blocked on the initial wizard because I can't add a 3D printer since I don't own any but at least it doesn't hang on the welcome screen anymore.

I made sure the system was fully up to date and checked for broken packages (none was found), then I reinstalled firefox but it still crashes so here's the backtrace you requested:

I haven't had any freezes for months now so I guess this issue can be closed.

I had another freeze in the first week of September but haven't had any since.
I might have found one possible cause for the freezes, the power strip my computer was connected to was faulty and has now been replaced.

It froze again today =(

I had the same problem. It was solved by installing libgtksourceview3. That should probably be added as a rundep.

duplicity (waiting for version 0.8.x to be promoted as stable)

Can confirm that Cura doesn't start since the latest version. If I roll back to version 4.3.0-14 it works again.

sudo eopkg it python-uranium-4.1.0-13-1-x86_64.eopkgPS: if it doesn't work, do not forget to rollback the change with sudo eopkg hs -t <operation number> where <operation number> is the number that precede the installation of the package and you can find it with eopkg hs
