I am little confused... till now the Solus's system printer settings automatically used the driver for printer HL-2250DN, which sometimes worked with just delays but sometimes not at all, like now ... with no obvious cause (to me at lease).

I have encountered the same behavior some times in Solus 4.1 Fortitude (Linux 5.6.19-158.current - GNOME) and since I have no clue on why this is happening, and also no evidence .... I found this conversation and note here.
