Looks like our baselayout package should be adapted for systemd recommendations without breaking new installs. Doing this will improve our statelessness as well.

Moved to GitHub for the new installer https://github.com/getsolus/solus-installer/issues/30

I think this has been more or less worked through at this point.
I need to go through this and split things out as appropriate.
I'm going to close this since it is on my TODO list for ypkg3

Good catch, thanks. Updated.
Vectorization is enabled at -O2 which is now equivalent to the original -O2 -ftree-vectorize -fvect-cost-model=very-cheap. Note that default vectorizer cost model has been changed which used to behave as -fvect-cost-model=cheap were specified.

Listing as resolved for now. Things are more or less in pretty good shape. I would open a new issue if there is still any problems.

Probably not because a bunch of users are having issues with 5.10

Moved libxcrypt section to a different task. T9502.
Only just noticed these changes only take effect for glibc 2.33 (not released), we need to update to glibc 2.32 first. ? This can wait a little longer, updated the doc the reflect the changes.

Please consider adding Mesa 20.2.x to this tasklist, for hardware support purposes.

This problem still exists.

Seems to be occurring on my Solus 4.1 Budgie as well.

I like your suggested solution.
Yea the Open In Software assumes the system uses GNOME Software, whereas we use our own Solus Software Center. I patched the Software Updates item under "About" but seems I should just nuke the Open In Software button outright for the applications area in GNOME Control Center, since the Software Center doesn't have a mechanism to open to a specific piece of software.

I don't have tabletPC like devices but if someone confirms iio-sensor-proxy works fine on MATE, it could be added on the ISO. Regarding birdtray, I am not really keen of having it installed by default.
I went ahead and added birdtray and iio-sensor-proxy to the Budgie and GNOME ISOs. I'll leave it up to @Girtablulu and @kyrios123 whether to not they wish to added them on the Plasma and MATE ISOs respectively. In particular, I am unaware if or how iio-sensor-proxy integrates with those DEs.

Migrated Arduino IDE to JDK 11 in D9078

Sorry about that folks, seems we had a random user being abusive for seemingly no reason.

For anyone following this task, 100% of my patches integrating JDK11 into our Java stack have been pushed to unstable, with the exception of Scala. If you use any of the software in the above checklist (minus the ones under Planned Deprecation), please give it a look and make sure it's working as intended.
