I would like to fourth this. Installs via tarbell with some effort, but as a requirement for day to day work, it'd be much nicer if it was included as a third party package.
Apr 28 2018
Unified Remote generic binaries are provided on their website and work perfectly. Don't see the need for it packaged.
Apr 25 2018
Is there any hope to add mongodb compass in the third party repo anytime soon?
Apr 23 2018
@kyrios123 Thanks!
PR submitted to add the missing dependency.

Similar problem here.
Repeated. :-)

We're not accepting more Third Party items in the 3rd-party repo. If you're gonna work on this, it has to be as a snap.
@PrzemekSkw so you're gonna package it ?
I also request for that package. Master Pdf Editor is the best free pdf editor for linux.

This issue seems to reappear, I just tried updating npapi flash player from the 3rd party section in the software center and I get a 404 error:

Please consider voting on this topic https://support.displaylink.com/forums/287786-displaylink-feature-suggestions/suggestions/32274070-release-linux-driver-source-code-to-the-community and let's hope that DisplayLink notices and does anything about it.

@BearzR not having a tarball is less of an issue since they are using Git. The real issue is that they don't have any version number to go along with a specific commit.
@Justin I believe that what you linked to is the game engine that its built with. If you go to the home page for the game and click build from source it instructs you to first build the Anura engine then to just git clone their repo as a module for it.

Why is this not open source? The source code is available on github.

I extracted the deb and ran ldd on the runescape executable. These are the current shared libraries:
I work with architects, it would be very useful for me too :)

Fair! Sorry for that then.. I was just having trouble figuring out what the fourth No refers to and who would use it and other elements, that's why I was commenting.
- Leaving the template isn't required. We recognize it's a package request.
- If it's not open source, we'd triage it as such.
Thank you @sunnyflunk for the fast update... as with all releases there is another one, GitKraken has been updated to 3.4.1

Consolidating tasks over at https://github.com/solus-project/solus-sc/issues. New SC will see Third Party packages incorporated into the normal categories that they'd be in (like Chrome in Web Browsers), we may selectively pull in new Third Party items or opt to wait until we replace the system with snaps.

I installed mscorefonts following this http://www.fosslinux.com/1387/how-to-install-microsoft-true-type-fonts-in-solus.htm.
Now most of the fonts work again (google.com etc.).
The most annoying that this doesn't fix is when I look at the source of a website. Inspector tells me it's monospace font.
Fonts are:
Mar 12 2018
It looks to me as if sans-serif fonts like Helvetica, Arial and thelike are just being rendered as a serif font which looks like good old Times New Roman. I tested this on several websites and looked at their respective stylesheets. The behaviour is reproducible.
The question is, what are the default fonts now?

I just installed the new Flatpak version of Zoom on Solus and it works great, FYI.

Same for me, if there is a way to install DisplayLink on solus (or dkms Oo) It would be awesome.

I'm seeing no indication that this supports Linux.

Please do not post direct .eopkg downloads as neither you or us are able to distribute the software. Please also note that for quite some time now Third Party is not accepting new software.
Instead, it is recommended to transition to snaps. We cannot put Yandex in our repos, so I would recommend querying the availability of snaps from the software vendor.

@lorcopotia could you please describe how can install Tixati with your script, as a non technical person I didn't understood anything from it.
Feb 25 2018
@lorcopotia Please don't close tasks. It would have been enough to un-claim the task.
As in Package Inclusion Policy says :
Value Add:
If the newly requested package offers no functionality above that of an alternative already in the repositories, it will very likely be rejected. “It’s pretty” is never a sufficient reason.
..and
Explicitly Redistributable:
Software under a free software or open source software license, or license text which explicitly states that it is permissible to redistribute the software.
For anything that cannot be redistributed by Solus, there is the possibility for them to be provided as a Flatpak, for Third Party repository inclusion. These items should then fetch only at installation time, and not contain non distributable components.
Unless absolutely unavoidable, the sources for a package should be source, and not binary, prebuilt sources. Exceptions may be made in rare cases, such as stage1 bootstrap...

Hmm. Apparently not. I went to that link and saw the commands to run. Only after running those commands does it show up in the Software Center. I thought the whole point of the Software Center and the Third Party tab existing in it is that you can do all this kind of stuff from there without needing to search the internet for commands to run in a terminal?
In T150#38114, @JoshStrobl wrote:@tekeous It already is in 3rd-Party. Check my second to last comment, I linked to it...
In T150#23538, @Shadow53 wrote:@NeoVsk Android Studio is the full gamut of Android development with the IDE, requiring a download of the full Android SDK as well. "android-tools" is a package containing two binaries that Android flashaholics can use to flash boot and recovery images as well as remotely install packages, run shell commands, pull/push files to/from the device, and so on. One could download Android Studio, but that is similar to asking someone to download the Libreoffice suite just to edit a text file.

So, I'll claim this task, but due to the nature of the beast and since it is only available as a Deb/rpm. A few others and myself think this would be a prime candidate as a snap. So I'll work on snap package in which can be installed and used via snapd

At the moment especially if you have an nvidia card, there needs to be cuda support in place. For the time being that's currently a blocker till cuda support is landed. Or I would think. @ikey would probably be best to answer that I think or someone else on the team.

The version of Skype in the 3rd party repository is 8.16.76.1 which as far as I know is currently the latest available version.
Skype for Linux Preview has a new version availible (not a preview anymore, but a stable version) for quite some time so it would be nice that a maintainer updates it.
