I know this is closed, but seeing as it's quite old, if sentiment has changed and this package can be approved, I'd be interested in packaging and maintaining it.

Also, Please use the Software tag if you installed telegram from our repository. Third Party Software is for a legacy mechanism for installing closed source applications.
Could you please try to install qt6-imageformats and see if that solves the issue?

Seeing as it will be a while until we switch away from Plata (or that issue gets fixed) I think a simple update to polari to get it working for now would be best. I'll submit a patch shortly.
Wow @serebit beat me to it: https://gitlab.com/tista500/plata-theme/-/issues/124
Ok yes it is missing libgtk-4 as the rundep, but polari still looks very blurry and outputs the following errors that look concerning (just part of; the complete list is much longer):
(polari:129824): Gtk-WARNING **: 21:27:04.634: Theme parser error: gtk-contained-dark.css:4835:225-244: No property named "-gtk-outline-radius"
Does installing libgtk-4 resolve the problem?

Insync is a proprietary, closed source application in the Third-Party repo. We offer no support for this application and do not make any modifications on it. Please contact Insync customer support to get your issue addressed.

Will you update Python anytime soon? Or is it planned?
Unfortunately no can do until we update to Python >= 3.8

Might we worth running an sudo eopkg check and seeing if you have any Broken packages that aren't helping?
Jan 8 2021
Yeah that's the same place I pulled the command from. Sorry about not including it originally, it would have helped.

Not sure how you are trying to run it, but I borrowed this from here
qemu-system-x86_64 -serial mon:stdio -d cpu_reset -d guest_errors -smp 4 -m 1024 -s -machine q35 -device ich9-intel-hda -device hda-duplex -net nic,model=e1000 -net user -device nec-usb-xhci,id=xhci -device usb-tablet,bus=xhci.0 -enable-kvm -cpu host -drive file=harddrive.bin,format=raw

I've dug around in both the package.yml and QEMU 5.0.1's source code and I don't see where that distinctive seavgabios path is being hard coded or set in a variable.

This is not redistributable software, it's not something we'd can add to the repository and we're not accepting any additions to our Third Party. The RPM and Deb files are provided by Microsoft, the AUR actively violates EULAs and licensing.

No, that's an AppImage, not a proper source tarball per our inclusion policy.
We have no plans of adding any additional software to Third Party. I personally use the Flatpak with Zoom and it works fine for my needs.
There is a direct download link for an AppImage version here now: https://www.slsknet.org/SoulseekQt/Linux/SoulseekQt-2018-1-30-64bit-appimage.tgz
It looks like since this has been closed a Flatpak has been added for it on Flathub https://flathub.org/apps/details/us.zoom.Zoom . Though it isn't directly supported by Zoom themselves, it is definitely functional.

May I confirm whether you have switched the Solus system UI language to any of zh-CN / ja-JP / ko-KR ?
Also, please remove the DroidSansFallback and DroidSansJapanese fonts to prevent them from misleading system font fallback procedures. These two fonts are supposed to be deprecated.

My suggestion would be filing this upstream with the Chromium developers. I haven't been able to reproduce this myself.

So far I haven't been able to reproduce this on my end, but I'm not a heavy Chrome user (Firefox for me).

Given we have no plans on flatpaking or snapping this application, closing as wontfix. I'd suggest reaching out to the respective developers about supporting either of those distribution and container models.
Mar 29 2020
Apart from that I can't reproduce your issue either; works fine for me.
Commenting a task that is closed since 2 years won't help you...
i am also getting an error. can not fetch error and timeout. normal apps through software center download fine, but this one hangs and freezes software center

Maintainer of rustup on Solus here
Splitting the rust ecosystem is not a good choice, I agree with you, but rustc, cargo and rustup are different programs, which follow different development cycles. As such, distributing these three programs in one single package would be rather impossible to maintain.
Additionally, this 'big-rust' package would depend on itself since rustup depends on cargo, and so on, which adds even more difficulty.

of course nothing works if you just curl stuff and do not do any distro integration, I have a feeling you have a fundamental misunderstanding how things work on Linux
Feb 29 2020
Also, our rust and cargo packages are more oriented to build other packages than to users. They do work of course but you cannot install and select the toolchains you want nor you can update Rust at your discretion. I suggest you to install rustup via sudo eopkg it rustup so that you have rustup which you can do whatever you want with, it doesn't have the limitations I listed.
because cargo is a separate package, install it via
I used this command:
curl --proto '=https' --tlsv1.2 -sSf https://sh.rustup.rs | sh
Is that not the blessed way of installing rust on solus?
we do have the rust version inside our repo, did you use this to install or only used it via rustup?

Removed comment @ghostv33. That individual is actively violating intellectual and copyright law by providing those pre-built binaries.
He already has the v5 packaged
So tried asking v4 and he is making it :D
Let's see :D

We're not accepting any more applications into the 3rd-party repository. This needs to be shipped as a snap or flatpak from Microsoft.

Please, tell me, how can I install pcloud in Solus. If I can't install pcloud then I will not use Solus anymore. I like Solus OS very much but I really need Pcloud, too.

Well, I am on a fully update solus gnome and my chrome still not having flash player, don't know why
