PAM 1.4 features support for yescrypt which is looking like it'll be the new preferred hashing method.

I'd like someone to spend a little time reading thorough their github issues and give me summary of the kinds of problems being reported, with an eye to things like:

• ABI changes
• Compatibility
• Regressions
• Upstream usage of additional ciphers

as mentioned in IRC, that Changelog should be summarized :)

Backport patch which enables GPU subgroup operations - they all were disabled because of oversight.
Now the related performance improvements that are mentioned in the changelog should actually work.

You can use abi-wizard or nm --dynamic to get the used symbols but the problem is scaling that up to check the whole ~1100 packages for every library and binary.

$ nm --dynamic /usr/bin/gdb | grep pthread_sigmask
                 U pthread_sigmask@@GLIBC_2.2.5
$ ./abi-wizard /usr/bin/gdb | grep pthread_sigmask
libpthread.so.0:pthread_sigmask

A small program will need to be written to minimize the list to match against deletions.

Only just noticed these changes only take effect for glibc 2.33 (not released), we need to update to glibc 2.32 first. ? This can wait a little longer, updated the doc the reflect the changes.

Will require a rebuild of vlc. Rebuild of mpv with a patch is in update stack.

There are no destructive ABI changes but I think it's safe to rebuild all the revdeps.

Added this as a parent of Octave 6.1.0 update to save a rebuild.

Require rebuilds for qgis, octave and openscad.

pymediainfo and qnapi need safety rebuilds because of removed symbols.

Enable new features in 3.6 branch:

1. Enable Xinerama support so osgViewer can span fullscreen windows across multiple monitors.
2. Enable Fontconfig support so osgtext can look up fonts in default system locations.

simgear and flightgear rebuilds are in the update stack, openmw needs to be rebuilt.

Rebuild required only for cups-filters.
python-pikepdf is already submitted in the stack.
qt5-webkit doesn't depend on pkgconfig(libqpdf) but instead it should be replaced with pkgconfig(libjpeg)
