Name of the software: tmuxp
Project/product Homepage: https://tmuxp.git-pull.com/
Why we should include this into the repository, i.e. what does it do that the alternatives do not?
This is a useful tool for users that use tmux and typically use layouts (windows, panes, etc.) by giving them an easy and simple way to manage layout configurations via YAML or JSON files. There are no other packages in the repository that do this, as far as I know.
Who and how many users do you anticipate will use this software? Anyone that often uses tmux with different layouts.
Is it open source? Yes, under the MIT license.
If accepted, I volunteer to maintain this, as well as its dependencies. Speaking of dependencies, it requires libtmux and kaptan, both of which are Python packages that we don't have.
