PLplot is in the repo, but isn't indexed under "Scientific" or "Mathematics-oriented" by the Software Center. Since the Solus Team is maintaining PLplot, indexing it under Scientific Software will make it easier for people to find. Low priority, I know, but low-hanging fruit too. I hope this is helpful!
