This package provides a hosts-file-based ad-blocker. One of the greatest advantages of it is that it is compatible with a lot of filter formats, such as AdBlock Plus filters, hosts file format, or dnsmasq blocklists. It has a huge list of filter lists, so that the user can subscribe to a filter list just by running a simple command and not actually searching for filter lists online (it works like a package manager in that way, but only that it applies blocking rules to hosts file). The user can also set some custom rules (allow/block/redirect to another bind address). It also has a built-in filter converter to help users convert a filter list into another format.

It is hard to tell, but this software is currently available on Fedora, Ubuntu and Arch Linux (AUR). I know a friend of mine who is using Solus and they would like to install it.
