I've developed this applet to monitor CPU temperature. I iterate over temp sensors available in /sys/class/hwmon/hwmon*, one of which can be selected from the applet settings.

I'll be submitting the package of this and can be maintainer.

Your software should use the proper reverse DNS name of com.github.tarkah.budgie-cputemp-applet / /com/github/tarkah/budgie-cputemp-applet since that is where it is hosted.
