Name: Alan
Why Include: This package will provide the tools necessary for authoring text-based games, similar to Colossal Cave Adventure, Zork, or Planetfall.
License: Yes, Artistic License 2.0

The most current version is a beta of v3.0, however it is perfectly fine for production (what I use) and the recommended version compared to version 2 of the language.

We usually put package requests for beta releases as "awaiting package upgrades" but it's actively developed and at the rate they're putting out new betas, doesn't seem like 3.0 is coming soon. So going to make an exception for this.

I've successfully created and submitted a new patch, everything works as intended on my system.

I haven't done this before, but is there something missing? It's been a week since I've created the initial commit, I've tested it (of course) and everything works as it should. I haven't been told if there are any errors or if I was missing anything in the process, there's no other instructions in

@drakovyrn Sometimes it can take a while until someone can find the time to look at your diff. What I can tell you right away though is that your inclusion is missing a file, like this

Ok, there didn't seem to be any mention of a Maintainers file in the Packaging pages, it might need to be updated. I only saw mention of the "packager" file which I did create:

Is it enough to just add it with my details included?

@drakovyrn Yep not your fault at all, I certainly need to update the docs to reflect it. Not sure what you mean by your question, but we generally have a "real name" policy and at least want the same email as the pspec. IRC isn't required, it's just so we (Core Team and Global Maintainers) know whom we can reach out to via IRC. If you're on Matrix, you can throw it there too and I'd be happy to reach out via there if needed as well (but IRC is preferred).
