The latest update to Ardour has brought VST3 compatibility and numerous bug fixes, so it would be very helpful to have it updated in the repositories.

Sorry, it looks like I have stopped getting notifications for new releases. Will get this updated.
The version looks to be a buggy mess. Freezes and stuff. I am not the maintainer of the package. I don't have the time to look into why it doesn't work.
Is it a planned task just waiting for someone to have the time to do it, or should I get the precompiled version directly from Ardour's website ? It's absolutely not a problem if nobody has the time right now, I'm just trying to understand and adapt to how the dev tracker usually works.
BTW Sorry I have tried to get involved with package management but it's awfully complex for a beginner and audio is just even worse... Can't package Ardour myself with my current understanding of packages.
@zonzille, if you'd like to maintain this package, I'm sure we could help walk you through the process on the IRC. It seems complex at first, but I've found it to be pretty intuitive.
@serebit it would be much appreciated. I still fear uploading improperly packaged stuff but I will soon join the Solus IRC and get to it. It would truly feel safer doing it with competent people reviewing, for sure. I will dm you on IRC when I have the time, to avoid flooding the dev tracker with messages. Thanks a bunch !
