Is this actually going to get pushed to the repos? I don't see it. The request was last year.
Quoting @mundotazo from his previous request:
It does the same thing. I would give it a go but I am skeptical.
Ganttproject felt like a beta to me when I tried it, not fully featured. How active is the development? I am not fan of java applications.
Planner is written in C. There's also projectlibre which I haven't used & Calligra plan which is great but built for the kde stack.
http://alternativeto.net/software/gnome-planner/?license=free&platform=linuxHow do they compare in terms of dependencies working on solus?
I'm not picky but we should pick best of breed.
Under the new package inclusion policy, I would actually favor Gnome Planner or Calligra Plan instead of GanttProject. I know some work has already been done to get GanttProject included but the other two are probably better choices in terms of feature completeness and ease of use/user interface. Feel free to close this if all parties agree.
Given nobody has stepped up to provide a valid and accepted patch, as well as become the maintainer, marking as WONTFIX.
