I find its GTK implementation nice. the overall setup is easy. I would like to add another link for more information.

Many thanks!
@atoms It's already been accepted so no further justification necessary :) We'll get to it when we get to it.
So after further review, I'm going to have to reject this. Linphone relies on the belle-sip library for it's SIP features. This library is actively maintained and has proper releases. However, belle-sip relies on the antlr3 library which hasn't seen a commit in over a year and a release in over 2 years. Since antlr3 isn't eligible for inclusion, I have to reject this by proxy.
Please reconsider this. The policy requiring only new releases seems problematic. Plenty of Linux software is feature complete yet has not seen an update in the last two years. This is not tantamount to buggy or insecure or obsolete. Furthermore, Linphone has released a new version recently. Linphone is the only high quality softphone--far more update and robust than the heavy Jitsi SIP client that's been accepted. It additionally has a very useful command-line component that no other softphone of which I know has.
Opened for re-evaluation given its new major release and that it was accepted for inclusion at an earlier date.
@DataDrake Would you be so kind and take a look at this again? I think the previously mentioned library issues are resolved with the new release.
No, the issue is still the same. Antlr4 is available and seems to be a rewrite of antlr3, however I can't find any discussion about them moving towards the antlr4 library.
If someone could find discussion that they intend to move to antlr4 in the future we could move this to 'Awaiting Package Fixes' instead of Won't Fix.
I've raised the antlr4 issue upstream and perhaps there is a possibility to circumvent it: https://github.com/BelledonneCommunications/linphone-desktop/issues/96
Reading the issue, as long as antlr3 can be added as a source when building but we don't actually have to package it, i'm okay with that personally. I'll have a look.
Looks like there is some movement: https://github.com/BelledonneCommunications/linphone-desktop/commit/d81a0ee59168902b00134701968b5862144b1518
antlr3 in now included within the source tree of belle-sip with this commit
With a new release of belle-sip I'm happy to include this unless there is any objections.
Closing as WONTFIX, they've had a sufficient amount of time to put out a new release.
