Description

It would be nice to set GTK_USE_PORTAL to 1 by default on Plasma for better integration. Then applications with portal support would use KDE's file chooser by default.

I killed this because it was causing issues on gtk stuff like firefox and thunderbird. Would need first to test if this is solved and doesn't cause any other issues before re-adding it.

Can you elaborate what issues? I haven't encountered any and I use both software regularly.

It was crashing Thunderbird, but fixed here

Causing crashes and dialog boxes reg saving did not pop up, I need to test this first before re-enabling it, don't wanna have issues again regarding it
