I've previously rejected authenticator apps for Linux due to their use of zbar, however it seems like it's been taken up and maintained again, so no real reason for me to reject this.

I have package builds for this and all it's dependencies ready. I am currently doing some testing with the application (Scanning QR-Codes, generating TOTP codes, etc.)

Under Budgie DE, when using Snap version of OTPCLient (2.2.1), i have the following error with the screenshot feature:

No issue with Gnome DE.

I have finished testing. What I did:

  1. Setup a new database
  2. Created a new entry (via screenshot) wit QRCode from https://github.com/mdp/rotp
  3. Check if it adds an entry for
  4. Repeat the previous step also via file and clipboard import
  5. Generated a TOTP code multiple times (wait at least 20sec in between) and check if it genreates always a new one.

I have added the packages to arcanist for review. Hope I did the initial commit correctly.

You can add me as maintainer if you like (and if it's posible. Started working on solus just recently).

Just wanted to bring this task back up. Patches for the needed packages are available at D8723, D8722, D8721, D8720. Please let me know what I need to do to get these accepted into solus
