unique value: OpenPyXL provides read/write of xslx (Excel 2010) files. Solus doesn't have any of the three popular xslx/xsl read/writer python pacakges, i.e. openpyxl, xlsxwriter, xlrd. I've used all three, and recommend OpenPyXL in most cases. In addition, Pandas relies on OpenPyXL or xlrd for reading data from excel files.
