I am the maintainer, but I must say that I haven’t seen this yet. Will see if I reproduce it later today.

I have no idea as to why you are running in to these issues (can't reproduce myself), but I would recommend doing the following:

  • Remove /home/alexander/.config/Brave.
  • Reinstall brave using sudo eopkg it --reinstall brave.

I have pushed a new update, see D7866, hopefully this can bring some fixes for you (chromium update might bring some necessary fixes, hard to tell).

The update is now in unstable if you would like to test if it makes any difference for you.

I am sorry, but I can't help you if you aren't responding. @alexanderzhirov

Can you please close this as "needs more info" or something along those lines? @JoshStrobl

@Jacalz I'm sorry for the long answer, it was not possible to check on the laptop what you advised.

I checked what you wrote, deleted the data in the ".config" folder, but it still did not help me.

I reinstalled Solus on the laptop, installed it on a clean version of the Bravе operating system, it began to work.

I think the problem appeared after installing NVIDIA drivers. I just did not install them right now.

@Jacalz for future readers who might come across this issue, I really think you should change Remove /home/alexander/.config to /home/alexandar/.config/Brave otherwise the user is going to delete the configuration files for all of their installed applications, not just Brave.

Yeah @alecbcs. Sorry for the typo., but thanks for the note :)

@Jacalz no worries. Keep up the good work with Brave :P

Think this is related to T8644, maybe this should be closed as well as an upstream issue?
