at-spi2 issues

Description

Hello,

Hello,
since the last update ( 11th Oct) I've some troubles with the atspi2 package. As I understand, it manages the accessibility of several system services.
After the login, I'm greeted for round about one minute with a black screen +cursor till I see the desktop.
When I try to suspend , reboot or shotdown my PC, I'm getting a message, that the at-spi-bus launcher is not responding. So I've to force it to quit, which results in a small freeze before it's finaly rebooting, shoting down, etc. Only screen lock is function well.
I've already tried to reinstall the related packages, (at-spi2; pyatspi2; at-spi2-atk and at-spi2-32bit) but it doesn't solved the issue.

Greetings,
Waldemar

I'm also having this problem on Solus Mate:

I have to click Cancel twice to close it, both for Restart and Shut Down.

You can try sudo eopkg it https://mirrors.rit.edu/solus/packages/unstable/m/mate-session-manager/mate-session-manager-1.22.2-16-1-x86_64.eopkg then reboot and let me know if the issue is gone

JoshStrobl triaged this task as Needs More Info priority.
JoshStrobl edited projects, added Software; removed Lacks Project.
JoshStrobl moved this task from Backlog to Package Fixes on the Software board.

This has now been cherry-picked onto shannon / stable repository. Just run sudo eopkg up and reboot.

Thanks, this is fixed for me now !
