Reason: This software is one of the main reason people are using Pop_OS!, switching graphics is one of the most difficult things to do on Linux but it's one of the most needed feature for laptop users, this tool makes it easy, it's actually a one click solution with their gnome extension

Given the different target audiences for Pop_OS! and Solus, we do not believe it is in the best interest of the project to adopt software from their distribution as there is no guarantee that their goals will remain in line with ours in the long term or that their implementation of technologies like this would be anything more than a stop-gap measure until we have our own Solus-specific solution.

Understood, I guess it makes sense, I hope the Solus version of this will be as nice! If you need a C/C++ dev to work on this at some point I'd be happy to help.

Although I'm curious, how are Solus' and Pop_OS!'s target audiences different?
