F2FS has clear advantages for SSDs and is a newer file system, which I would like to use for my primary NVME drive. I see it has been brought up in T56, but was closed due to inactivity. The package f2fs-tools exists (not included in by default in the live session though), so is there any particular reason it has been kept out as an option, or just no demand for it?
